THE FUTURE IS NOW

 

The idea started when I saw an article about a Microsoft AI on twitter that had started off as normal and friendly. Less than 24 hours on social media, and it was spewing hatred towards race, sexuality and religion. They had to shut it down due the offensiveness, however is this how robots will develop and learn their opin-ions from? If so, how do we stop this from happening? My idea started to turn political. It was going to be based around two campaigns right winged and left winged robots. It was going to be satire, and humorous. Each having their different opinions on the human race and how it should be ruled. Even though I didn’t go though that idea, since it would have taken too long to do two politic campaigns and I couldn’t develop it any further. I then turned it into a protest brand for robots. Yet, it still didn’t have a proper goal or message. After discussing ideas with my tutor, we came up with an idea about an Intellectual society that discussed the future issues of robots. This is what the brand be-lieves, “We believe it’s very important to bring awareness to these subjects before it’s too late.” Our audience are Scientists, Politicians, Sociology students and people who just like to debate.

BRIEF 

 

Create a brand for an organisation that represents the human relationship to robots. An organisation that communicates the rights and aspirations of humans and how we relate
to robots. I choose option B which was the branding project. I choose the robot brief which was called “The Future Now” For this brand, I had to create a brand for an organisation that represents the human relationship to robots. An organisation that communicates the rights and aspirations of humans and how we relate to robots.

The big logo is a gigantic “X” because it’s saying enough is enough. No more ignoring future issues, we need to discuss them now.
