ACTION ON HEARING LOSS
Thoughout my research, I explored many different pathways but decided to settle with the idea of fading objects into white. My main visual inspiration came from Andrew Miller, who each day, for over 100 days, covered an object with white paint to reduce it to its simplest form. I came up with the campaign name, “Fadeout”.

The idea behind this campaign is to portray to the general public a visual parallel to deafness. The whiteness of the object and lack of contrast with the background, represents the irrelevance of a noise creating object to a deaf person’s life. It may as well not exist.
I feel that this concept visualises hearing loss. I want the imagery to engage and make the viewer interested in finding out more about the Action On Hearing Loss. The final animations and posters are suitable to be displayed anywhere.
